Greenwich Trio

Performing for the first time at Camber Arts, Greenwich Trio and Boris Bizjak (flute) present a program to mark the 100th year anniversary of the death of Gabriel Fauré. Fauré was the teacher of Ravel and so Fauré’s penultimate work, the Trio in D minor Op 120, is included alongside an arrangement of Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite for flute and piano trio. You will also discover new music with a jazzy world premiere by Slovenian composer Jani Golob, and a North American premiere of Living Trees by British composer Marcus Barcham Stevens. Also in the program is the youthful and passionate Smetana Trio Op 15 in G minor, one of the favourites of Greenwich Trio.
